Flat Stomach Diet Tips

No need to stop eating

Starving is not the solution to overweight problem. If you are overweight and working for having a flat stomach you need to make diet schedule which allow you to take small meals at least every four hours interval round the clock.

 

Plan healthy foods

Plan your meal so that you can have healthy meals. Foods containing fiber and less fat are healthy. Try to have walnuts, almonds, natural peanut butter, and fresh fruits everyday. Include olive Oil, green Vegetables, and flaxseed oil in your diet.

 

Importance of water

Pure water is another name of life. It flushes your system of toxins and helps you stay fuller for longer time. So drink lots of water.

 

Limit your sugar intake

Say complete no to extra sugar, soda and sugary fruit drinks. More sugar means you are taking fast carbohydrate. If you take more fast carbohydrate, body store extra carbohydrate as fats. So try to avoid fast carbohydrate, i.e, extra sugars.

 

Take Fat burning food

Drink green tea without or less sugar to burn your fat. Cucumber, tomato, grapefruit, blueberries, cabbage, cauliflower - all these are fat burning foods. Try to include at least one fat burning food in each of your meal.

 

Timing of eating is important

Not only eating but also timing is important. Many people calculate how much calorie they should take and they never exceed that limit but they starve for long hours. That’s never a good idea. You need to boost your metabolism by right food at right time and it can balance your blood sugar. Balancing blood sugar means balancing your insulin which is responsible for storing fat around your middle. For example protein rich snack between launch and dinner can keep your metabolism at desired pace. I would personally suggest you to take small meal in every four hours.

 

Avoid processed foods

Processed foods like refined grains, sugars and desserts means less fiber and relatively higher calorie. On the other hand natural food items like fruits and vegetables mean higher fiber content which prevents over eating and those have another important thing called antioxidant. It’s known for ant-inflammatory property. So food with antioxidant can prevent your belly fat.

 

Emphasize on monounsaturated fat (MUFA)

In terms of chemistry, fatty acids with one double bond are monounsaturated fat and fatty acids with more than one double bond are polyunsaturated fat. But for common people carbon bond is not a headache. Usually monounsaturated fats are liquid at room temperature and turn solid if chilled. It’s regarded as healthy fat and can help you to remove fat from your stomach area. A report published in Journal For Diabetes Care March 2007 issue explained how monounsaturated fat can help you to burn fat and can speed up your metabolism. Not only that, it prevents over eating by keeping you satisfied longer. Olive oil, avocados, tea seed oil, almonds and macadamia nuts are well-known source of monounsaturated fat.
